Join Us!

We are looking for a Project Engineer (Electrical) to join the international MWM Engineering Team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of customized MWM Power Plant Solutions, including containerized CHP systems, based on MWM gas engine gensets.

You will be involved in projects from early design through execution and, when required, support installation and commissioning activities on customer sites.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver electrical designs for MWM Power Plant Solutions, including CHP systems and system integration into buildings or containerized solutions

• Create and maintain:

  • Single-line diagrams

  • Wiring diagrams

  • Operation philosophies

  • Functional descriptions

• Design auxiliary and common control panels as well as LV/MV switchgear, including cabling, according to project specifications and in a form suitable for implementation by third-party suppliers

• Execute MWM Power Plant engineering across all phases:

  • Offer

  • Design

  • Order execution

  • Construction and site support during installation and commissioning (as required)

• Provide technical support to the MWM Sales Organization, both from the office and during customer visits

• Collaborate in international and cross-functional teams on global and innovative projects

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification

• Minimum 3 years of experience in plant engineering, ideally with gas engine‑based CHP plants

• Ability to translate complex customer requirements into technical specifications and designs

• Strong knowledge of electrical design tools, preferably EPLAN (or equivalent)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in an international environment

• High degree of self‑motivation and ability to work independently

• Willingness to travel, also internationally

• Fluent English (spoken and written)

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
