Job Summary:
The Senior Digital Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value of digital products within the Power & Energy division. This role owns the product roadmap and backlog, collaborates with development teams and stakeholders, and drives the vision, strategy, and prioritization of digital solutions that deliver value to Caterpillar dealers and customers.
What You Will Do:
- Define, maintain, and prioritize the product roadmap and backlog based on business value;
- Act as the Product Owner for complex, high-impact digital products and initiatives;
- Maximize product value and support development teams in delivering business outcomes;
- Communicate product priorities and strategy to development teams and stakeholders;
- Serve as the primary decision-maker regarding product features and functionality;
- Establish and communicate a clear product vision;
- Collaborate closely with internal business partners, suppliers, and Caterpillar dealers;
- Gather customer and dealer feedback to continuously improve digital products;
- Manage and support products such as Gas Engine Rating Pro (GERP), Dynamic Gas Blending (DGB), Equipment Cost Estimator (ECE), and other digital solutions.
What You Will Have:
Effective Communications: Knowledge of communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to clearly convey information, influence stakeholders, and align diverse teams around a common vision.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of decision-making processes and analytical techniques; ability to evaluate information and make sound product and business decisions.
Marketing Strategy and Positioning: Knowledge of market research, customer segmentation, and business models; ability to define product strategies that meet customer and business needs.
Software Product Business Knowledge: Knowledge of software product lifecycle management, product vision, product strategy, and business operations related to software and digital solutions.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field;
- Previous experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner;
- Prior experience leading teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously;
- Advanced English.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate appropriately to ensure a team’s success;
- Domain expert in business applications, particularly Dealer services;
- Strong accountability planning/organization, and teamwork;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive, emotional or potentially controversial situations.
Additional Information:
- The required location for this role is Piracicaba/SP, Brazil;
- Travel may be required based on business needs.
Note: This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days a week.
