Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst _IT Analyst Applications to join Infrastructure Services -CAT IT Division

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of user identities, access requests, and security controls across enterprise systems and applications. The role ensures users receive appropriate access to perform their job responsibilities while maintaining compliance with company security policies, regulatory requirements, and access governance standards.

The IAM Analyst will work closely with business users, application owners, IT teams, cybersecurity teams, and IAM leadership to support identity lifecycle management and access governance processes in a timely and secure manner.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield PSN Office, Bangalore -KA

What you will do

Access Administration

  • Process user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access modification requests.
  • Execute Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) activities according to established procedures.
  • Validate access approvals and ensure compliance with access control standards.
  • Support role assignments and entitlement management across enterprise applications.
  • Assist with privileged account administration activities.

Identity Lifecycle Support

  • Maintain user accounts in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and other IAM platforms.
  • Monitor onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure timely access changes.
  • Coordinate with HR, managers, and application owners regarding access requirements.
  • Perform routine user account reviews and clean-up activities.

Governance & Compliance

  • Support periodic access certification and review activities.
  • Assist with audit requests by gathering access-related evidence and documentation.
  • Ensure all activities comply with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Escalate access control concerns, policy violations, or security risks as identified.

Incident & Service Support

  • Respond to IAM-related tickets and user support requests.
  • Troubleshoot account lockouts, authentication issues, access failures, and provisioning errors.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members when required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and support activities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Follow established IAM processes, standards, and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and process documentation.
  • Participate in IAM projects, testing activities, and system implementations as needed.

What you will have

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, IT Operations, Service Desk, Systems Administration, or Information Security.
  • Experience managing user accounts and access permissions in enterprise environments.
  • Basic understanding of information security principles and access controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.
  • Shift Timing:06:00PM -03:00AM IST(US Shift)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with one or more IAM solutions such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk, or Ping Identity.
  • Familiarity with access certification and governance processes.
  • Exposure to SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Microsoft SC-300, Security+, or similar security certifications.
  • Experience supporting global organizations and geographically distributed users

• Recommends enhancements for a major application system or related subsystems.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.
• Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder.
• Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information.
• Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution.
• Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems.

Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of application design and architecture principles and practices; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools, and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Analyzes system requirements and translates them into detailed design specifications.
• Designs complex application architectures that meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Evaluates and selects appropriate pattern, components, technologies, and tools for application development; integrates them with technical design.
• Leads application design reviews and walkthroughs to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solution.
• Troubleshoots complex design issues and provides innovative solutions.
• Prepares technical design documents and blueprints for applications.
Implementation: Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
Level Working Knowledge:
• Tracks problems associated with the quality and effectiveness of application software.
• Researches the benefits and drawbacks of an organization's application software.
• Drafts application software usage for the department's needs.
• Provides instant support for end users of application software.
• Implements a specific application software under the supervision of management.

Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Follows policies, practices and standards for determining functional and informational requirements.
• Confirms deliverables associated with requirements analysis.
• Communicates with customers and users to elicit and gather client requirements.
• Participates in the preparation of detailed documentation and requirements.
• Utilizes specific organizational methods, tools and techniques for requirements analysis.

System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Assists with current and planned integration initiatives.
• Explores major issues and considerations for successful system integration.
• Works with applications, data, technology bridges and a variety of platforms.
• Works with existing interfaces as well as integration and migration plans within own area.
• Plays an active role in local integration efforts.

System Testing: Knowledge of system and software testing; ability to design, plan and execute system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Supports the project leader in developing and executing system test plans.
• Evaluates system documentation and user manuals for usability, accuracy and completeness.
• Executes test cases, analyzes test results and reports on findings regularly.
• Tests system components for compliance with functional requirements.
• Participates in the testing of a system's ability to recover from hardware or software failures.
