Job Summary:

The Senior Supervisor Production is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations across multiple shifts and manufacturing production lines. This role ensures optimal productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently achieved, while fostering a positive and compliant work environment. The Senior Supervisor drives operational excellence through effective leadership, resource management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do:

• Leadership & Staff Development: Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and onboarding processes for operations personnel. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing management team through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Operational Oversight: Supervise all production activities to guarantee adherence to safety protocols, production schedules, and performance targets. Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor operational metrics and implement strategies to enhance safety, reduce costs, and improve quality. Champion the adoption of best practices and new technologies.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Foster a culture of safety and accountability throughout the manufacturing environment.

Education Requirement :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related to the field
• English Advanced
• Expert in Painting Process

What skills you will have:

Problem Solving:

• Knowledge of paint defects and root cause analysis.
• Handling of measuring equipment (coating thickness gauges, adhesion testers, thermometers, etc.) to identify problems and determine corrective actions.
• Assesses coating quality concerns related to adhesion, thickness, gloss, color, and surface finish.

Flexibility and Adaptability:

• It adapts to different painting processes, including powder and liquid paint applications.
• Adjusts equipment settings and process parameters based on product specifications and operational requirements.
• Respond effectively to changes in production schedules, materials, and customer requirements.

Performance Management:

• Provides ongoing feedback, celebrates successes, and suggests areas for improvement.
• Take part in salary planning and administration.
• Establishes and agrees on performance goals and objectives with team members.

Analytical Thinking:

• Control and analysis of coating thickness, adhesion, gloss, color and surface finish to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Interpretation of technical sheets, specifications and engineering drawings.
• It uses data from inspection and measurement equipment to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Applies root cause analysis methodologies to solve problems in the painting process.

Planning and Organizing:

• Planning and coordination of surface preparation activities, including degreasing, washing, phosphating, shot blasting and pretreatments.
• Ensures proper programming and operation of paint booths and curing ovens to meet production requirements.
• Prioritize quality inspections and process controls to maintain workflow efficiency.

Effective Communications:

• Communicates technical requirements, quality standards, and process specifications to production and quality teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve paint quality concerns.
• Documents inspection findings, corrective actions, and process improvement recommendations.

The best candidates will also have:

• Knowledge of the Paint Value Stream (Paint CAV).
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and chemical handling procedures.
• Extensive knowledge with electrostatic powder coatings and liquid paint applications.
• Ability to operate and adjust paint booths and curing ovens.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.

Additional Information:

• Location: Reynosa, Tamaulipas Facility.
• This position is five-day a week in-office model.
