Job Summary:

Supports the IT function with assisting in areas like development, testing and implementing application systems, specifically for BI tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Thoughtspot etc.

What You Will Do:

  • Participates in IT functions like developing, coding and testing computer programs related to BI Tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Thoughtspot etc.

  • Assist in preparing technical and procedural documentation for BI Tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Thoughtspot etc.

  • Assist with detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for application programs (BI Tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Thoughtspot etc).

  • Participate in contributing solutions for programming system operations, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs (BI tools).

What You Have:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related

  • Experience with Business Intelligence platform services

  • Previous experience as infrastructure or application support

  • Advanced understanding of Windows Server Operating System

  • Advanced understanding of Apache / Tomcat application servers

  • Writing, testing, and/or using script language programming

  • Understanding of the latest web technologies and trends

  • Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Experience with Linux Operating System

  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and platforms

  • Experience with relational databases and SQL queries

  • Understanding of networks, domains, firewalls and rules

Additional Info :

  • The ideal location for this role is Peoria-IL, Dallas-TX, Nashville-TN

  • MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THIS LOCATION AND Work out of the office 3 times a week.

  • This position may require 10% travel.

  • Sponsorship is  not available including OPT, H4-EAD.  Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Summary Pay Range:

$79,800.00 - $119,760.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
