About the Role:
The primary role is to manage the training area, with a focus on developing technical competencies aimed at training operators in CNC machining, assembly, material handling and painting processes, responsibilities include executing the personnel certification and decertification process, developing digital OJTs (On-the-Job Training materials), and driving continuous improvement initiatives for OJTs through a Voice of Customer (VOC) process. This approach will help identify business needs and opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of training programs and OJT resources. The role ensures products meet Caterpillar specifications and promotes quality-focused culture across various departments. As a Quality Manager, the incumbent oversees a team, handling planning, training, performance evaluations, and personnel issues. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including global quality teams and suppliers. Responsibilities include employee development, problem-solving, and implementing solutions to meet key quality goals such as customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and certification standards.
What You Will Do
- MGPP development for Technical training based in VOB & VOC
- Develop and implement a digital strategy for technical training focus in measurement systems and gages, CNC, material Handling
- Develop and implement technical training collaboration with MADISA, Cluster Automotriz and Local Universities for next generation training
- Develop and implement capital investment projects aligned with the department’s growth strategy and long-term business objectives.
- Develops and monitors quality plans to meet Caterpillar standards and QS9000 certification requirements through internal audits and reporting.
- Generates quality reports and drives continuous improvement by collecting inspection data and publishing defect reports across all production stages.
- Acts as the primary quality contact for customers, manages feedback loops, coordinates rework, and resolves daily shop floor quality concerns.
Degree Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or any related engineering degree.

- Capable of integrating lean methodologies into existing production and management systems.
Relationship Management:
- Responds promptly and effectively to client requests and interactions.
- Regularly monitors client satisfaction and alerts the team to emerging concerns.
- Clarifies roles and responsibilities within business relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise leading a Six Sigma project.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Additional Information:
- Location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon.
- This position is six-day a week in-office model.
- This position will require travelling 10% working time (Domestic and International).
