Role Definition
Assists with technical analysis of manufacturing processes in all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for assembly and testing processes for SEM axles and TTT Final Drive.
• Support the implementation of the Drivetrain Assembly modern manufacturing strategy by promoting the application of advanced tightening technology, AI-based error proofing, Pick-by-Light, and automation projects in SEM axle and TTT Final Drive assembly operations.
• Support NPI project activities by ensuring adequate assembly process readiness during new product introduction and enabling smooth project execution.
• Lead the development of assembly and testing processes and provide daily technical support, including SWS/SWES, APQP, SFMEA, fixtures, lifting devices, and related activities.
• Drive improvements in productivity, quality, and cost by identifying opportunities in the assembly process and implementing corresponding improvement actions.

• Describes the roles and responsibilities of manufacturing areas and staff.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Level Basic Understanding:
• Explains the value of a disciplined approach to problem solving.
• Describes problem reporting and escalation practices.
• Utilizes accepted procedures for problem analysis and resolution.
• Identifies key aspects of problem-solving techniques used in own area.
