What You Will Do:

Responsibilities
• Resolving issues regarding the design or manufacturing. Ensuring design acceptance and manufacturing readiness.
• Participating in the adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Planning and improving testing procedures and operations to make the test more reliable, efficient and cost-effective.
• Monitoring results, machine and process capabilities and performance reliability.
• Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum or equivalent experience working in an Engineering function.

  • Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Product Testing: Knowledge of product testing approaches, techniques and tools; ability to design, plan and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality at all stages of manufacturing.
  • Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (specializing in Engines/Internal Combustion Engines)

  • 1-3 years’ professional experience in industry or related are preferred

Desired Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in engineering accompanied by professional experience in engine performance system development

  • Demonstrated experience in the development and validation of diesel engine performance, including combustion, emissions, fuel consumption, and transient response optimization

  • Strong understanding of engine combustion processes, air handling systems, fuel injection systems, turbocharging, EGR, and aftertreatment technologies

  • Experience in designing, executing, and interpreting engine dyno testing, emissions testing, and performance validation activities.

  • Strong capability in analyzing engine performance data and identifying root causes of issues related to power, torque, fuel consumption, emissions, combustion stability, and transient performance.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate test results into actionable engineering recommendations.

  • Proven self-motivation and the ability to effectively communicate technical findings and recommendations to engineering teams, management, customers, and external suppliers.

  • Prior involvement in product development processes, including NPI (New Product Introduction), NTI (New Technology Introduction), and CPI (Continuous Product Improvement).

  • Fluent in English, with the ability to work effectively across different time zones.

  • Strong English communication skills and willingness to collaborate with global teams across time zones.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
