Job Summary:
Caterpillar is seeking a Full Stack developer to join Financial Systems Data team. In this role you will play a key role in developing secure, high-performance applications tailored for financial services, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable web applications using React.js/Next.js and Python.
- Design and implement backend services, APIs, and microservices with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging services like Azure Functions and App Services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for efficient and safe code delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and deliver new features.
- Ensure code quality through version control, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance across the full stack.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and contribute to business value.
Degree Requirement:
- Bachelor's in computer science, software engineering or related field.
- Advanced English-Speaking level is required.
Skills candidates must have:
- Demonstrated full stack engineering capability, delivering modern, scalable applications across a mature technology stack, including Next.js and internal platforms such as SvelteKit or Nuxt.
- Strong backend development capability using modern frameworks to build high-performing, reliable, and data-driven services.
- Application of clean coding principles and software engineering best practices.
- Effective use of version control and Git-based development workflows.
- Adoption of AI-enabled development practices to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery outcomes.
- Strong Microsoft Azure capability across Azure Functions, App Services, Storage, Databases, and related cloud services.
- Design, deployment, and support of cloud-based and enterprise software solutions.
- Development of cloud-native architectures.
- Use of Docker and Kubernetes to build scalable and resilient applications.
- Design of reliable, secure, and highly available software environments.
- Implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines.
- Infrastructure as Code using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Application of DevOps practices and cloud engineering principles.
- Continuous improvement of engineering processes and delivery frameworks.
- Adoption of modern development methodologies, tools, and operational practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.
- Effective partnership with engineering, product, and stakeholder teams.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Promotion of collaborative ways of working enabled by AI-driven tools and practices.
- Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives across teams and functions.

- This position can be based in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León.
- Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify

- International and Domestic travel up to 5% (national and international).
- This role requires onsite presence 5 days per week.
