What You Will Do:

Manages multiple or complex engineering projects involving multiple functions, organizations, products, or value chains.

• A permanent position is needed to support addition of C175 to CTL, along with incremental 3500 volume at CTL. This position is needed to execute Triple Crown volume increase but will remain to manage the higher volume once in place.
• Develop project scope to address business challenges and opportunities.
• Coordinating resources across the businesses with sales and marketing, product development groups, value chain and manufacturing.
• Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems.
• Directing project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members.

• Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
• Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
• Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product management environment.
• Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering program with minimum of 10 years related work experience OR Master's degree in an accredited Engineering program and minimum of 8 years related work experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and design principles used in fabrication, lines, castings.
• Inquisitive nature, with special focus on driving to root causes – utilize 8D and / or ‘5 Whys’ to identify cost effective problem solutions
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to lead teams
• Demonstrated ability to integrate systems
• Supplier/component strategy experience
• Strong level of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and have demonstrated ability to apply theory and concept to product design.

Additional Information:

• Experience leading NPI, CPI and Cost Reduction projects with proven results
• Design control experience and good working knowledge of NPI and APQP process
• Ability to present to senior leadership and lead consensus meetings
• Factory support experience
• Experience with Creo or other modeling tools
