What You Will Do
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). This role ensures that quality standards are consistently achieved, drives corrective and preventive actions, and leads quality teams to support product reliability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development of quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines, and control plans to ensure the quality and reliability of manufactured products.
Lead the development and implementation of corrective actions and preventive measures to achieve quality objectives.
Investigate and address trends related to internal and external non-conformances.
Lead, manage, and develop multiple teams, including team leaders, quality specialists, and inspectors, to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Develop and review reports with Quality Assurance, Production, Management, and Engineering teams to analyze and resolve quality-related issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process performance, and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with applicable customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Skills You Have
Decision Making & Critical Thinking
Knowledge of decision-making processes, methodologies, tools, and techniques, with the ability to accurately analyze situations and make productive decisions based on sound judgment.
Demonstrated ability to:
Explain the characteristics and steps of an effective decision-making process.
Identify issues and communicate with others when decisions are required.
Recognize key decision-makers within the organization and provide examples of past decisions.
Understand the scope of decisions that can and cannot be made within the role.
Lean Manufacturing
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing philosophy, principles, and implementation methodologies, with the ability to integrate Lean concepts into existing production and management processes.
Demonstrated ability to:
Identify benefits and risks associated with Lean implementation.
Apply basic tools and methods to observe processes and identify waste.
Reference successful and unsuccessful Lean implementation examples from industry or organizational experience.
Demonstrate understanding of key Lean principles and manufacturing practices.
Problem Solving
Knowledge of methodologies, tools, and techniques used to recognize, anticipate, and resolve organizational, operational, and process-related issues.
Demonstrated ability to:
Identify and document specific problems and potential solutions.
Evaluate issues from multiple stakeholder perspectives.
Utilize alternative methods to assess the accuracy and relevance of information.
Analyze risks and benefits of different approaches and support resolution decisions.
Apply fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify root causes.
Quality Management System (QMS)
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including their functions, capabilities, and applications, with the ability to design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve systems that consistently meet customer requirements and applicable regulations.
Demonstrated ability to:
Explain key QMS functions, features, and capabilities.
Identify major QMS providers and industry participants.
Describe the benefits of automated and manual QMS solutions.
Understand the role of QMS in establishing formal documentation processes and procedures that ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 2 - 4 years of experience in Quality / Operations / Manufacturing Processes.
English Proficiency: Intermediate level (assessed during the interview process).
Top Candidates Will Also Have
Advanced English proficiency.
Additional Information
