Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
Experience:
1)5-10 years of experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or related industry.
2)Experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Material Flow Management.
3)Good knowledge of SAP and ERP systems.
4)Experience in managing non-conforming materials and rework processes.
5)Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing operations.
6)Familiarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and change management processes (ECN / Deviation requisition).
Job Summary
Responsible for managing and governing rework activities across all facilities, including both internal and external rework operations. Ensure rework execution is completed in compliance with safety, velocity, quality standards, cost requirements, while driving continuous improvement in rework processes and resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
1)Manage and coordinate all rework activities for non-conforming production parts across internal facilities and external suppliers.
2)Coordinate with internal manufacturing, quality, ECN, SQE, warehouse, and design teams to establish and execute effective rework plans.
3)Collaborate with external suppliers to obtain quotations, evaluate rework feasibility, issue rework requisitions (PR/PO), and monitor rework progress to ensure on-time completion.
4)Prioritize, assign, and monitor rework tasks for internal technicians and support teams to meet operational requirements.
5)Manage and maintain rework equipment, tools, and resources to ensure operational readiness and efficiency.
6)Monitor rework status, material flow, and recovery progress, and provide regular reports and updates to management.
7)Ensure all rework activities comply with Caterpillar quality standards, engineering specifications, safety requirements, and documented procedures.
8)Support audits, quality reviews related to reworked products and processes.
9)Establish and maintain rework documentation, records for traceability and compliance.
10)Lead continuous improvement to reduce rework time and minimize rework costs.
