Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.

As a PIC Inventory Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in helping our dealers optimize their inventory strategies and improve parts availability. Through data-driven insights, close collaboration, and impactful projects, you’ll contribute to achieving our service and inventory objectives across the Europe, Africa, and Middle East (EAME) region. You will be based in the Grimbergen office, where you’ll be part of the Dealer Aftermarket Collaboration organization – a multifunctional team aligned around industry and dealer needs, focused on delivering customer-centric solutions and driving aftermarket services growth throughout Caterpillar’s global network.

Your Responsibilities

• Working with DSD and Industry teams, to support dealer inventory management, to support STU growth

• Serve as the primary strategic business and system support expert for dealers using the Parts Inventory Collaboration (PIC) platform.

• Deliver monthly inventory performance analysis packs and provide executive-level actionable insights to support dealer inventory reviews

• Design and apply advanced data analysis techniques and complex inventory management logic

• Accountable for managing Parts Availability KPI (TDA/OTIF) performance for respective dealers.

• Accountable for data health of the PIC/PDI solution, incl daily checks of Order and RPA recommendations.

• Responsible for conducting periodic Inventory Management reviews.

• Making service loss analysis (at the part level) and generating improvement ideas.

• Stay up-to-speed with the latest PIC Analytics solutions.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across divisions

• Leverage SAS, Power BI, and other analytical tools to extract insights and drive improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field)

• Theoretical & practical understanding of Inventory Management principles

• Experienced PIC Analyst, with deep expertise on several PIC concepts.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the skill to translate complex data into executive summaries.

• Explore AI as a means to optimize PIC processes and accomplish efficiency gains

• Strong interpersonal skills to become trusted advisor for your respective dealers.

• Presentation skills, Decision making and Sense of Urgency

• Fluent in English, preferable French as well.

• A customer-focused mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally

• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience

• Willingness to travel occasionally (10-15%)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SAS, Power BI, or other data analytics tools

• Strong background in Supply Chain, Inventory Management and Dealer Operations

• Project Management experience
