Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage plant-level quality strategy for raw material and process quality.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to eliminate quality issues.
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve quality management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Drive supplier quality performance in collaboration with SQE teams, ensuring incoming material compliance.
- Partner with CQE to resolve customer issues and improve satisfaction.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma, RCA).
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry certifications (e.g., ISO).
- Develop and monitor key quality metrics, including defect rates, PPM, and process capability.
- Build and lead a high-performing quality team with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with production, engineering, and supply chain teams.
- Support new product introductions and process changes with robust quality planning and validation.
- Lead internal, supplier, and external audits and drive corrective actions.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing quality management.
- Proven leadership and people management capability.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO, Six Sigma, Lean, APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
- Experience in supplier quality and cross-functional collaboration (SQE/CQE).
- Data-driven problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong bilingual communication skills (Mandarin and English).
- Solid understanding of production and process quality.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- Experience in hydraulics or industrial manufacturing.
- Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt.
- Experience with digital quality systems and data analytics tools.
