Job Summary:

The Business Transformation Manager – Retail Electric Power Solutions (REPS) is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the mid- and long-term transformation agenda that will deliver REPS' path to 2030 growth. This leader will convert the REPS strategy into disciplined execution — driving alignment across REPS Sales, Product Definition, Marketing, Engineering, Integrated Services, Finance, and Dealer partners.

Acting as strategic advisor to the REPS Director and REPS leadership team, this role leads a small team, orchestrates cross-functional change, and ensures REPS operates with clear priorities, measurable outcomes, and executive-ready governance. Success requires a leader who thinks strategically, communicates with executive presence, and drives results through others in a highly matrixed, global environment.

What you will do:

Strategy Transformation & Execution

  • Lead the REPS strategy refresh cycle and translate enterprise priorities into strategic roadmaps, annual big rocks, and quarterly execution plans.

  • Set clear expectations, deliverables, and measurable individual goals aligned to the REPS scorecard.

  • Build a culture of accountability, growth mindset, and hunger for growth.

  • Team Leadership & Talent Development.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of transformation, governance, and communications professionals.

  • Recruit and develop the best talent; build a high-performing, recruitable team seen as future leaders across EPD.

Executive Leadership & Governance

  • Serve as team lead to the REPS Director and REPS leadership team on priorities, cadence, and communications.

  • Own governance for Annual Business Planning, Strategic Projects and Monthly Sales MBR.

  • Design and lead executive reviews, quarterly deep dives, and REPS AEMs.

  • Craft executive-ready narratives, decks, and decision materials with visual-first, outcome-oriented storytelling.

Performance Management & Metrics

  • Identify performance gaps early, drive corrective action, and ensure disciplined execution across stakeholders.

Cross-Functional & Dealer Orchestration

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Product. Definition, Marketing, Engineering, Digital, Integrated Services, Finance, and Dealer Development.

  • Influence without authority across a global matrix — Americas, EAME, AP.

  • Align business partners (LEPS, Rental, Energy Services, Business Development, Aftermarket) and dealer stakeholders on shared outcomes.

What you will have:

  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Economics, or related field from an accredited university.

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in commercial, product, strategy, marketing, or general management roles.

  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale transformation or strategy execution.

  • Proven ability to communicate with, and influence, senior executive audiences.

  • Leadership Experience

  • Prior Electric Power, power generation, or industrial B2B experience.

  • Experience working with Cat dealers, distributors, or independent channel partners.

  • Track record of building governance frameworks (SGC, product councils, monthly MBR).

  • Experience translating strategy into measurable KPIs and executive dashboards.

  • Strong financial and business acumen (P&L, OPACC, market sizing).

  • Prior experience with change management, program management, or Lean 6 Sigma methodologies.
