We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the Mining application portfolio, driving end-to-end delivery, product modernization, and AI-enabled transformation across equipment health and data visualization areas aligned with strategic technology initiatives within the Advanced Mining Technology group.

The role requires strong mining domain expertise, hands-on experience with Java-based backend systems and modern UI (Angular/Web) technologies, and a proven ability to manage complex programs using SAFe methodologies. The TPM will drive alignment across product, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders while accelerating modernization and innovation across the portfolio

This position requires working from the office 5 days a week to enable close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Program & Portfolio Management - Own product portfolio, driving roadmap execution, KPIs, and cross-team delivery alignment.
• Product Modernization - Lead modernization initiatives, and scalable microservices adoption. Drive technical debt reduction and platform standardization.
• Delivery & Release Management - Ensure predictable, high-quality delivery and manage cross-application dependencies.
• Technical Leadership - Oversee Java backend and modern UI (Angular/Web) systems and Collaborate with architecture on design, integration, and modernization.
• Mining Domain Leadership - Apply MineStar/mining expertise to guide product decisions aligned with operational workflows.
• AI & Innovation - Drive AI/GenAI adoption across SDLC and identify automation and analytics opportunities.
• Financial & Vendor Management - Manage budgets, forecasting, and vendor delivery for cost and quality optimization.
• Risk, Quality & Governance - Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with quality and governance standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement - Provide executive-level updates and drive alignment across product, engineering, and leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years in technical program/project management.
• Strong experience managing large-scale, multi-application portfolios.
• Proven expertise in Java backend and modern UI technologies (Angular/Web).
• Mandatory experience in product modernization / re-platforming initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of SAFe/Agile methodologies and release trains.
• Prior experience in mining applications domain.
• Experience with AI/GenAI adoption in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in budget management, vendor management, and global delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
