Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.
As a Safety & Hazardous Material Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and assisting with implementation of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policy and procedures..
Additional Information:
- This role is located in York, PA and does not offer relocation.
- This role is 3rd shift, Sunday – Thursday.
- This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules
- This role requires up to 10% domestic travel
- This role requires schedule flexibility to support first and second shift operations as needed (up to 5 days per month).
What You Will Do:
- Contribute to the development of EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections, audits, and hazard identification activities.
- Support learning-focused incident reviews.
- Maintain EHS records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist HR with onboarding readiness, materials, and new hire coordination.
- Serve as an Employee Communications Committee (ECC) ambassador.
- Lead the Guardian program for new employees.
What You Have (Basic Requirements):
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Initiative: Being proactive and committing to action on self-identified job responsibilities and challenges; ability to seek out work and the drive to accomplish goals.
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
- Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance: Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies; ability to implement EHS policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards.

Summary Pay Range:
$28.70 - $43.10Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
