    MWM offers energy solutions based on high-performance gas engines, used in highly efficient combined heat and power (CHP) plants for decentralized energy generation. Our customized cogeneration power plants and integrated solutions support our customers in making their energy supply efficient, flexible, and future-proof.     Are you ready to take full ownership of service operations for cutting-edge MWM equipment? We’re looking for a Service Area Manager to lead commercial and technical service activities, ensuring excellence throughout the entire lifecycle of our delivered scope.

    Location: Pest County, Nagytarcsa
    Travel Required: Frequent, inside Europe
    Work Schedule: Flexible to meet customer demands

    What you’ll do:

    • Service Management: Lead day-to-day operations for defined customers and channels. Ensure efficient communication with clients and internal teams.
    • Time Management: Prioritize effectively and plan business trips to customers or headquarters (Mannheim/Schwaz) with supervisor approval.
    • Technical & Warranty Oversight: Coordinate technical issues, warranty claims, and goodwill cases with internal experts. Prepare technical reports.
    • EHS Leadership: Promote and enforce EHS culture. Support audits and ensure safety during on-site service activities.
    • Financial Control: Monitor customer payments and working capital. Track service, warranty, and goodwill cost allocations.
    • Customer Relations: Maintain strong communication and support across all service-related matters. Conduct site visits and customer meetings.
    • CVA Management: Oversee Customer Value Agreements. Plan and coordinate service activities, resources, and maintenance strategies.
    • Forecasting & Planning: Elevate revenue forecasts from CVAs and service sales. Report to Customer Service Manager and ensure timely execution.
    • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to internal guidelines (e.g., export control, HRT-process, code of conduct).
    • Cross-Departmental Support: Collaborate with sales and project management teams. Assist with site checks and commissioning.
    • External Representation:

    You will represent the company in interactions with:

    • Customers & End-Customers
    • Channels, Service Providers & Key Customers
    • Suppliers & Transport Companies

    • Demonstrated understanding of customer-centric values and practices. Ability to prioritize customer needs and satisfaction in all business decisions and translate insights into tailored solutions.
    • Proficiency in using data collection and analysis tools, techniques, and processes to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
    • Strong grasp of customer service principles. Committed to exceeding customer expectations and delivering outstanding service, both directly and indirectly.
    • Knowledge of consulting methodologies and the ability to provide technical or business guidance to clients effectively.
    • Skilled in analyzing complex situations and making informed, productive decisions using appropriate tools and judgment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally across various stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving mindset and resourcefulness in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.

    What You Bring

    This is a high-responsibility role requiring broad technical and commercial knowledge. You’ll need to solve complex problems quickly and confidently, often under pressure.

    What We Offer:

    • Salary: Gross monthly salary between HUF 1,155,677 – 1,400,000 (depending on experience)
    • Employment, based on contract of employment
    • Competitive, experience-based salary and Annual bonus based on individual and company performance
    • Company car, laptop, mobile phone for personal use as well

    Additional Information

    • Up to 50% travel will be expected for this role (domestic and inside Europe)
    • On site presence is required when not travelling

    Base Minimum Pay:

    Ft13,868,121.00

    Please note that salary is only one component of the total compensation and benefit package available at Caterpillar.
