Job Description: Digital Product Owner

We are looking for highly competent Product Owner to join our team to help drive the ongoing development of our cloud-based technology projects.

This position requires extensive experience in Story Creation, Agile Methodology & ceremonies, work allocation/tracking and working with product owners and Leads. Candidate should have at least 5+ years of experience.

Key Role/Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements gathering meetings/workshops with product owners to derive the system requirements and uncover areas of improvement

• Performing requirements analysis and create user stories with proper acceptance criteria for development team

• Conducting requirement grooming meetings and to share business needs and system requirements with the development team

• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements

• Serving as a liaison between Business users, Business Analyst and development team users

• Ability to break down large functional requirements into manageable chunks

• Ability to clearly call out the definition of done and acceptance criteria

• Managing projects, developing project plans, and unblocking the resources.

• Managing competing resources, dependencies and priorities.

• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects

• Gather metrics, conduct retrospective meetings for driving improvements

Required Skills:

• Experience in working or managing cloud based web application development

• Excellent documentation skills.

• A track record of following through on commitments.

• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (Formerly VSTS Teams)

• Knowledge in SQL queries

• Experience developing applications with Agile team methodologies preferred.

• Familiarity with Estimation models

• Experience at creating technical project Documentation and task time estimates.
