Role Definition
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and stakeholders, to define and refine requirements for Agile projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
• Work with development teams to ensure requirements are well understood and feasible.
• Assist in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Perform impact analysis on business processes and suggest improvements.
• Support testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions.
• Ensure documentation aligns with Agile principles—focus on lightweight, value-driven documentation.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Provide insights based on data analysis to improve decision-making.
Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, or other Agile tools.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and business process models.
• Ability to analyze and visualize business processes using flowcharts or UML diagrams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in conducting impact assessments and gap analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Agile Business Analyst (IIBA-AAC), SAFe Agilist, Salesforce Business Analyst certification).
• Experience working with Salesforce experience cloud

Summary Pay Range:
$72,672.00 - $135,444.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
