Sr. IT Analyst – Entra / Strong Authentication Specialist
The Strong Authentication analyst will support the strong authentication services within the Identity Access Management (IAM) organization of Caterpillar Cybersecurity. This role involves providing technical support within the Caterpillar Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Azure B2C environments, as well as the multifactor authentication (MFA) service. The specialist will collaborate closely with the strong authentication product owner to implement new strong authentication solutions and enhance existing solutions ensuring a more secure and user-friendly login experience. Strategic initiatives will include leveraging industry leading strong authentication solutions and technologies across Windows and Mac devices, enhance adjacent services and expand use of the strong authentication services across the enterprise.
What You Will Do:

Authentication administrator duties within Entra ID.

PowerShell & Graph API scripting.

Reporting & automation.
-
Create communication and documentation for end users.

Develop support documentation and processes for level 1 and 2 support teams.

Support project teams on upcoming Strong Auth initiatives.

What You Have:

Strong technical understanding of multifactor authentication services.
-
Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Entra ID & Microsoft Azure B2C.

PowerShell & Graph API knowledge.

Accredited, four-year Information Technology degree, a closely related technical degree, or equivalent experience.
-
Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills; ability to deliver messages to technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to balance customer experience and IT risk.

High Level of customer focus with professional communication skills.

Initiative-taker with strong technical skills and business acumen.

Additional Info:

The primary location for this position is Peoria, IL, Dallas TX or Nashville, TN.

This is a hybrid position requiring onsite attendance 3 days a week.

Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $179,640.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
