Caterpillar is seeking a Digital Analyst in Brooklyn Park, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining digital tools in the Brooklyn Park facility to help the operations team utilize data analytics that are captured on a day-to-day basis.

What you can look forward to in this role:

  • Responsible for monitoring overall performance of assigned digital products and handling customer issues through resolution
  • Provide monitoring of overall performance including reliability, durability, maintainability and serviceability of assigned current and future digital products.
  • Issue investigation and statistical analyses, physical testing and analysis of application failures, returned parts, development of quick field fixes, suggested design or manufacturing improvements, etc.
  • Provide input for setting targets for digital product and application reliability, durability and serviceability to be stated in the functional specifications.
  • Stay current with all digital products and applications, also develop and maintain a digital products and application knowledge base and training materials.

A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:

  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Software Product Technical Knowledge : Knowledge of technical aspects of a software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products.
  • Software Reliability Management : Knowledge of software reliability management; ability to develop and use principles, methodologies and metrics that increase software product performance and reliability.
  • Technical Troubleshooting : Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.

Top Candidates for this position may also have:

  • Associate’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, electronics engineering or a related field
  • Experience with Snowflake, power BI, Tableau, SQL & Share point

Summary Pay Range:

$79,800.00 - $119,760.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
