About E&ES:
Caterpillar’s Electrification & Energy Solutions (E&ES) Division will focus on delivering advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries.

Job Summary:
Caterpillar’s Electrification + Energy Solutions division is seeking a HV System Analysis Lead to coordinate high-voltage system analysis capability across electrification programs.
This role is responsible for collaborating with a global engineering team delivering high voltage system analysis, including cable sizing, fuse coordination, incident energy calculations, and power flow studies.
The position combines deep technical expertise with leadership of a globally distributed team to ensure high-quality, consistent, and scalable system analysis supporting electrified product development.
What You Will Do:
Lead execution and quality of HV system analysis including cable sizing, fuse coordination, incident energy calculations, and power flow analysis
Establish and standardize modeling practices and data quality requirements
Serve as the technical subject matter expert for HV system analysis
Drive continuous improvement of analysis methods and modeling capability
Ensure alignment between analysis outputs and system design decisions
Lead and coordinate a globally distributed team executing ETAP analysis activities
Set priorities, allocate resources, and manage workload forecasting
Establish governance routines for execution discipline
Develop team capability through mentoring and coaching
Drive accountability for quality and timeliness of deliverables
Keep up-to-date on new technologies and drive continuous improvement to established techniques
What You Will Have:
Degree Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Process Management: Extensive experience and knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Extensive experience and understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Analytical Thinking: Extensive experience and knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Effective Communications: Working knowledge and understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Problem Solving: Extensive experience and knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations
Technical Excellence: Working knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Project Management: Working knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

This position is located in Mossville, IL and requires 5-day a week on-site availability

Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
