Job Summary
Our Boonville manufacturing facility is hiring a Shop Helper to support daily production operations. This is an excellent entry‑level opportunity for high school students, college students, teachers on summer break, or anyone looking for summer work and hands‑on experience in manufacturing.
No prior manufacturing experience is required. Training is provided. This role offers a great way to earn income, build real‑world work experience, and explore careers in manufacturing.
Open to candidates age 16 and older
Key Job & Application Aspects:
*Job location - Boonville, MO
*Starting wage is $21.40/hour.
*Positions are CAT Part Time Temporary / Supplemental (20-32 hours per week, limited benefits, limited PTO and Medical Insurance)
*Shifts available:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 11:30 pm
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11 pm - 7:30 am
Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 7 am - 7:30 pm

Key Responsibilities
- Assist production teams with general shop and manufacturing support tasks
- Help move materials, parts, and supplies within the shop
- Prepare work areas and assist machine operators as needed
- Perform basic cleanup and organization of workstations
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
- Learn basic manufacturing and shop processes on the job
Required Skills
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Willingness to learn and work in a hands‑on environment
- Dependable, punctual, and reliable
- Ability to perform light to moderate physical work (standing, walking, lifting)
Preferred Skills
- Interest in manufacturing, production, or skilled trades
- Previous summer job, school shop class, or hands‑on work experience
- Basic familiarity with tools or mechanical tasks (training provided)
- Strong teamwork and positive attitude
