As the Order Operations Support Supervisor, reporting to the Global Planning and Demand Management (GPDM) organization, you will lead global support for machine and worktools order management operations. This role provides leadership across order operations systems and processes, ensuring business continuity, governance, data compliance, and production readiness. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will support and optimize platforms including CMOPS, Mach1, MSF, Orders 360, and related downstream systems. You will work closely across departments and dealer partners to translate business needs into effective operational and system solutions, while supporting deployments, issue resolution, compliance and continuous improvement.

You will work at the center of the business, collaborating daily with product groups, finance, pricing, account coordinators, IT, and supply chain partners, and influencing how orders are executed end‑to‑end. What you will do:

  • Lead the global Orders Operations Support team.

  • Ensure business continuity, effective issue management, drive continuous improvement, solution delivery, and system performance.

  • Translate business requirements into process and functional specifications.

  • Oversee and execute order operations systems’ testing, validation, change management activities, training and documentation.

  • Ensure governance, compliance, and production readiness of existing and new products and processes, managing transitions from development to production.

Top candidates will also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or Marketing

  • Experience in Order Management, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, or Business Development roles

  • Hands-on user experience with Mach1, EOMP, SAP, and enterprise order management systems

  • Experience designing, implementing, and leading business processes and system-enabled workflows

  • Proven people leadership experience in a global or cross-functional environment

  • Familiarity with SAP governance, data compliance, and system audit controls

Additional information:

  • Location: The location for this position is Peoria, IL and requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.

  • Relocation: Domestic relocation assistance is not available for this position.

  • Travel: This position may require up to 20% travel.

Summary Pay Range:

$147,760.00 - $221,640.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
