As a Standard Work Coordinator at the Caterpillar Clayton, Ohio facility, you will be responsible for developing visual and graphics-based work instructions for material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies. You will collaborate with various departments to convert current standard work, safe operating procedures, and other guides into a web-based software program.

• Shift Hours: Monday -Friday 7:00am-13:00pm
• Starting Wage: $20.29 per hour

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Creating digital standard work using pictures, videos, and text for Associates to utilize when performing job specific functions.
• Coordinate with Work Area Supervisor for access to parts to develop content for standard work such as videos and pictures.

Essential Job Functions:

• Occasionally lift parts up to 50 pounds individually or up to 100 pounds as team lift.
• Occasional bending, reaching, and squatting while performing tasks.
• Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed.
• Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
• Standing and/or sitting at a desk while performing tasks.

Required Qualifications may include, but are not limited to:

• Experience with photo and video editing software.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Experience in understanding and explaining processes and work procedures
• Experience with Microsoft office suite applications.
• Ability to adhere to attendance policies

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

• A certification or associate degree in information technology or other multimedia-related field of focus or in the pursuit of earning one.
• Portfolio and/or examples of previous work available upon request
• Good attendance record.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes.
• Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
• Walk, squat, and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes, be able to climb stairs, reach overhead and stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to be trained on forklift, reach trucks, dock stockers, walk-behind stackers, etc.

• Candidates who are successful with the phone screen and online assessment will be scheduled for an interview.

• Post-Offer Medical Questionnaire - clearance from Corporate Medical

Additional Information:

• Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm
• Overtime may be mandatory based on business need.
• Starting wage is $20.29, per hour
• Opening is located in Clayton, OH.
• No relocation is offered for this position.
