We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Linux Software Developer with strong expertise in C++ development, Linux-based embedded platforms, and modern software engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing platform software and system services for embedded edge computing platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson, ARM-based systems, or similar high-performance embedded environments.
In addition to deep embedded software knowledge, the candidate should be passionate about emerging AI technologies, capable of adopting and integrating AI capabilities into products, and interested in building AI-powered applications, workflows, and software agents for edge devices.
The candidate will work within a Scaled Agile (SAFe/POD-based) environment and collaborate with architects, product owners, platform teams, AI engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver production-quality software solutions.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Linux Software Engineer with strong expertise in C++ development, embedded systems, and Linux-based platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience developing software for advanced edge computing platforms such as NVIDIA IGX Thor, Jetson, or similar embedded systems, and a strong interest in applying AI technologies and agent-based solutions in embedded environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using Modern C++ on Linux-based platforms.
• Develop platform services, middleware, diagnostics, monitoring, and system management components.
• Debug and optimize software for performance, reliability, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Participate in software architecture, design reviews, and technical roadmap discussions.
• Enable deployment of AI/ML workloads and contribute to AI-enabled edge computing solutions.
• Develop and integrate AI-powered applications, workflows, and software agents.
• Work within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment and participate in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Follow engineering best practices across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Skills

Technical

• Strong proficiency in C++ and object-oriented design.
• Experience with Embedded Linux development.
• Hands-on knowledge of:
  • Multithreading
  • IPC mechanisms
  • Networking
  • System-level programming
  • Linux debugging tools (GDB, Valgrind, Perf)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and automation tools.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.

AI & Emerging Technologies

• Exposure to or strong interest in:
  • Generative AI
  • AI Agents
  • LLM/VLM-based applications
  • Edge AI platforms
  • NVIDIA AI ecosystem (CUDA, TensorRT, ONNX Runtime)

Process & Methodology

• Strong understanding of SDLC practices.
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.
• Knowledge of code reviews, testing, release management, and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NVIDIA IGX Thor, Jetson, or ARM-based embedded platforms.
• Experience in Edge Computing, Industrial Automation, IoT, Autonomous Systems, or AI-enabled embedded products.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence.
