Role definition

This Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales administration & delivery of complex FG Wilson generator orders from both dealers and direct customers.

What you will do:

• Base responsibility is key order project management from the time of clean order entry through to RTS and shipment to the dealer or customer site.
• Although this role will support the project management of all complex FG Wilson generator orders the role will focus on supporting 4000 & 5000 genset orders with significant and key product variant requests that ultimately are sold in critical sectors such as data centres, healthcare, telecoms and oil & gas.
• Manage full lifecycle of complex genset orders from order entry to shipment/ delivery.
• Operate on a global basis coordinating between factory, engineering, suppliers (if needed) and end customers/ distributors.
• Interact with key stakeholders such as different Engineering design teams and our global packaging plants.
• Proactively manage key order book and Interact with manufacturing & supply chain. Coordinate with global production facilities (e.g. India, China, Brazil - Focus on APS & AEC). Assist with the delivery and management of production slots for key orders, agreed lead time delivery and general factory build and any 3rd party inspection delivery/ coordination support.

Your profile – what you should bring:

• Required: Multi-year (3/5) experience & proven track record managing complex projects and associated order management.
• Preferred: Multi-year (3/5) experience of diesel generator systems (e.g. FG Wilson / Perkins-based or similar)
• Preferred experience of direct, OEM + dealer/distribution model
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex project/ orders concurrently and successfully.
• Proven record of Strong commercial acumen (management of orders, profitability & business risk)
• Ability to manage up and across multi disciplined stakeholders on a global basis.
• Ability to drive Problem-solving in high-pressure, time-critical situations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Proven experience in Genset / power generation projects (Or similar OEM industrial equipment)
• Experience working with global supply and manufacturing chains as well as dealer/ distributor networks.
• Proven Project management experience or relevant qualification

Additional Information

· Travel requirements: Potentially up to 20 % of the time

· Not open to ISE / No relocation will be offered.

· We are back! This role requires being in the office five days a week, should you not be on business travel.
