Summary of the Role: This is an individual contributor position, responsible for performing SOX testing and coordinating internal controls activities and compliance with government rules and regulations, and internal policies and procedures. The incumbent will be exposed to a variety of accounting functions and will perform a high level of compilation with a broad range of analysis work as a part of SOX and Fraud & Anti-Bribery controls testing. The incumbent is also required to attend virtual evening meetings with Division Compliance Teams 3-4 times per month.

The ICC directly reports to a Senior Internal Controls Supervisor and this position requires interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively to interact with multiple functional areas and levels of authority.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinating internal controls activities and compliance to government rules and regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
• Develop an expanded understanding of Caterpillar’s business and accounting practices, systems and procedures;
• Validate adherence to policies and procedures
• Provide training to facility personnel and leadership as it relates to internal controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of Accounting.
• Experience in administrator internal controls, SOX or internal/External Audit will be an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Good command communication in English and computer skills
