What you will do:
• Manage the schedule manufacturers and suppliers for E+ES.
• Lead project improvements to help improve effectiveness of the E+ES supply chain.
•Drive projects against success measurements, including quality, velocity, & cost metrics.
• Evaluating logistics processes and workflows, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions for process-related concerns.

Degree Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience desired

What you will need:
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Experience managing schedules for contract manufacturers and supplier for E+ES.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Contributes to short-term operational plans.
• Anticipates and adapts to plan changes.
• Monitors progress of work against plan as required to meet objectives.
• Reports variances and makes agreed-upon corrections.


Collaborating : Knowledge of productions process to collaborate with functional groups to meet customer commitments. Promote seamless handoff of project work to ongoing operations teams.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Establishes shared goals to foster collaboration.
• Implements methods for people to come together on the fly to make decisions, solve problems, and develop products/services.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Experience managing and tracking KPI’s, and managing root cause and corrective action (RCCA).
Level Extensive Experience:
• Evaluates past decisions for insights to improve decision-making process.
• Assesses and validates decision options and points and predicts their potential impact.
• Advises others in analyzing and synthesizing relevant data and assessing alternatives.
• Uses effective decision-making approaches such as consultative, command, or consensus.

Logistics Management: Coordinate customer deliverables (shipping). Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and ensure compliance with safety policies and protection of corporate assets/information.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Manages logistics processes through process improvement, prioritization, and project planning.
• Implements and maintains monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
• Develops and analyzes logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
 

Additional Information

• This position is not open to relocation.
• Sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Domestic travel required up to 10%.

*This position is currently a hybrid in-office work model, requiring a 3-day weekly office presence onsite at our (location) office and remote work for the remaining days. However, work arrangements may be adjusted at any time based on business needs.

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
