Engineers must manage their own development, continuously learning through experience and staying abreast of technology. Key skills to be developed at this level are failure prediction and management, technology time/cost analysis, spatial design, conceptual design, practical application of theory, knowledge of the NPI process, and communication skills.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Requires a bachelor degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science curriculum plus 5 to 11 years of experience in control systems, or an advanced degree in an Engineering or Computer Science curriculum plus 4 to 10 years of experience in control systems.
