The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream from procurement to design and manufacturing to distribution. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurement and the design and manufacture of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters).
Job Summary
As an International Transportation Analyst, you will be the Lead of the North America Air Operations Team with a primary focus on ensuring North America export and import air shipments deliver on-time to our distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and dealers.

- This position is located in Morton, IL and does not offer relocation
- 10% or less domestic and international travel expected for this role
What You Will Do
-
Responsible for Caterpillar parts and components air shipments exporting/importing North America to ensure on-time delivery

Building relationships with Caterpillars air freight forwarders

Preparing material and hosting monthly on-time performance reviews with air freight forwarders

Identify process improvement opportunities, implement root cause and corrective documentation for shipments that did not meet service KPIs

Coordinates problem resolution with Caterpillar facilities and approved Service Providers (air freight forwarders, trucking companies, customs brokers) with regards to the transportation network

Provides analytical insights to leadership and internal customers to generate fact driven solutions

Uses tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and Tableau to drive transportation tracking and process flow improvements
What You Have

Transportation : Knowledge of and experience with the means of transporting materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and customers the manufacturing facility.

Relationship Management : Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Process Management : Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.

Analytical Thinking : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Summary Pay Range:
$87,480.00 - $131,280.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
