Recruiters for CI act as talent partners and contribute to this mission by leveraging their interpersonal skills, strategic mindsets, and in-depth knowledge of talent acquisition to solve problems and target opportunities. This role helps influence our talent acquisition strategy, builds strong relationships with our internal customers, and acts as a mentor and subject matter expert for our recruiters in increasing the concentration of underrepresented groups at the top of the funnel to expand access and opportunity to all.
This position requires experience-based knowledge of world-class recruitment methods, a commitment to continuous improvement, and demonstrated success in delivering a high-quality candidate and client experience. Skills that will help you be successful in this role:
Staffing and Recruiting: Knowledge of standards, processes, techniques, and methods used in staffing and recruiting; ability to identify, select, retain, and relocate qualified personnel, both internally and externally, for a wide range of positions.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Service Excellence: Ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
The Talent Acquisition Partner-Production is responsible for uncovering diverse talent through both traditional and new & innovative recruiting practices; this role is an individual contributor reporting to the CI US Talent Acquisition Manager.
· Primary recruiting contact for hiring managers. Continually engages with hiring managers and BU/location leadership to understand the recruiting business needs and required skills.
· Manage the candidate pipeline by implementing effective sourcing strategies. Effectively program manages recruitment campaigns as required.
· Responsible for quality of the prospective candidates that are presented to the hiring managers for open requisitions.
· Maintain and ensure compliance with local recruitment policies & processes.
· Track candidate process and minimize time to hire (Resume to offer) through driving the candidate pipeline. Understand and use Workday (the candidate database) and ensure up to date data management of recruitment applications by Hiring Managers at all times.
Basic Requirements:
· High School Diploma
· 2 years of recruiting, human resources, or related experience
Top Candidates will also have:
· Bachelor’s degree
· 2+ years’ experience recruiting for skilled production labor in a high-volume production environment
· Familiarity with Workday
· Experience in creating talent pipelines through community network and relations
· Experience in implementing and executing sourcing strategies focused on increasing the concentration of underrepresented groups
· Capability to manage multiple internal customers
· Develop and maintain effective relations with the hiring managers in span of support
· Ability to analyze and interpret data including recruiting metrics, recruitment channels etc. to measure success of recruiting initiatives
· Project management experience

· Position is expected to be on site 5 days per week

Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
