Role Definition
Supports multiple robotic and automated systems and leads projects for the operations management team.

Responsibilities
• Programming, debugging and troubleshooting robotic and automated systems; supporting or leading efforts to deploy automated systems.
• Partnering with support teams on application / software troubleshooting.
• Trains end users and operations support teams on the automated system applications. Owns local operation application support. Supports execution of standards.

Education requirements

• A bachelor’s or engineering degree is required.

• English proficiency for technical documentation and cross‑site collaboration is required.

Required skills

Robotics/Computer Controlled Machinery:

• Experience with different Operational Robots/Cobots controls and brands: KUKA, ABB, Fanuc, Yaskawa, UR and others.
• Experience with different Robots/Cobots application: pick and place, part location, welding and others.
• Experience with Robotic offline programming softwares.
• Experience with automated systems: one-piece-flow processes with integration of vision systems, RFID,
• Experience with Robots/Cobots Cell integration (peripheric: PLC, conveyors, Machining Centers, vision systems and others).
• Robots/Cobots commissioning (electrical and electronic installation).

Industrial Automation/Automatic Control:

• Cites examples of Industrial Automation applications in one's own manufacturing organization.
• Describes Industrial Automation/Automatic Control concepts and features.
• Lists where to obtain expertise and information regarding Industrial Automation methods and techniques.
• Discusses major considerations and issues related to Industrial Automation.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA):

• Describes the concepts, features and benefits of RPA.
• Lists examples of RPA application in various industries, e.g., retail, banking, and healthcare.
• Lists methods and tools that are used to develop and deploy RPA.
• Discusses main considerations and issues regarding RPA.

Technical Troubleshooting:

• Describes problem identification, reporting and escalation procedures.
• Explains the underlying concept of using a systematic approach to solve technical problems.
• Identifies available resources and support systems for troubleshooting.
• Describes common hardware, software, and communication problems; finds ways to resolve issues.

Additional Information:

• Position is in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo León. On-site.

• Work schedule is set Monday to Friday (6:24am to 5pm)

• Travel may require up to 25% (international and domestic)

• No domestic relocation bonus.
