Role Definition
Design, development, integration, validation, and technical delivery of advanced electrical and electronic systems and components—including displays, telematics, controllers, and network management solutions—for machine and engine applications.
Responsibilities
• Overseeing compliance with development processes and regulations for electrical and electronic systems and components.
• Investigating and troubleshooting all technical issues related to electrical and electronic systems and components.
• Managing and negotiating with electrical and electronic equipment vendors for the development of systems and components.
• Mentoring craftsmen, technicians and engineers in the development of electrical and electronic systems and components.
Education requirements:
- Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering curriculum.
- Advanced English-speaking level is required.

Electronics Engineering - HTH:
• Trains others on designing complex integrated circuits.

• Interprets alternative interfaces between hardware and software and associated requirements and considerations.
• Advises on matching methodology, materials and tools to the electronic product that is being built.
• Consults on engineering multiple electronic circuits, components or devices.
• Evaluates the benefits and drawbacks of analog and digital circuits.
• Experience with hardware and software integration.
• Circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting for complex electronic systems.
• Strong working knowledge of CAN J1939, Automotive Ethernet, and wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, NFC, and cellular connectivity.
• Experience with wireless certification, regulatory compliance, and design considerations for global markets.
Product Design - HTH:
• Monitors each phase of the design procedure to ensure overall operation meets standards.
• Trains others on major processes of product design; directs the conception of each component.
• Advises others on the development of multiple products and their architectures.
• Delivers improvement plans to senior management and compares the outcome of the design against the architecture.
• Evaluates feedback from customers and consults on functional weaknesses.
• Controls design and development costs of a proposed product through effective resource coordination.
• Lead requirements gathering with internal customers, translate business and technical needs into clear engineering requirements, perform gap assessments, and communicate expectations effectively to suppliers and development partners.
Reliability Management - HTH:
• Selects appropriate tools and methods to ensure reliability expectations in hardware products.
• Participates in product reliability and quality assurance standard processes to meet process demands.
• Conducts performance and reliability testing for a specific hardware product or product group.
• Implements reliability activities and tasks for product development and maintenance plans.
• Analyzes common hardware reliability failures; provides corrective action plans.
Mechanical Engineering - MFG:
• Works with basic, routine components of the mechanical engineering discipline in manufacturing.
• Performs basic installation, testing, maintenance and repairs for machines, engines and other equipment.
• Uses software to draft drawings or writes specifications for specific mechanical engineering projects.
• Assists senior staff to resolve unusual mechanical problems; recommends ideas.
• Follows relevant standards, policies and practices in mechanical engineering operations; reports violations.
Supplier Management - MFG:
• Follows procedures in carrying out routine supplier management tasks.
• Uses electronic systems or tools to record/retrieve supplier information and carry out transactions with suppliers.
• Resolves routine supplier issues; escalates non-routine issues up chain of command.
• Research alternative vendors or suppliers; participates in supplier selection.
• Works with suppliers to ensure that purchases meet delivery date and quality specifications.
Additional Information:
Work schedule: Monday – Friday (7am - 4pm).
The location for this position is Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Must be willing to travel 15% of the time. Domestically and internationally
