Role Mission:
Manages, govern, and continuously evolve Caterpillar IT’s Demand Management and Technical Debt processes, while leading enterprise‑level IT process re‑engineering initiatives. This role defines how demand process is executed, how risk and technical debt are governed, and how IT processes are redesigned to accelerate time‑to‑value and improve customer experience.
Core Accountabilities:
- Enterprise IT Process Re‑engineering: Lead enterprise re‑engineering of initiatives associated with demand, technology debt, and others as determined by strategic goals. Design future‑state models, roadmaps, and pilots, and define enterprise rollout strategies.
- Demand & Technology Debt Ownership: Manages the global demand and technology debt governance, including intake, prioritization, decision rules, standards, and escalations; serve as primary process owner delegate.
- Strategy, Governance & Value Enablement: Define and monitor process performance metrics, ensure traceability from strategy to realized value, and drive adoption through leadership alignment, governance forums, and standards.

Functional / Technical Competencies: Process re‑engineering (6 Sigma, lean, agile), IT Demand and Portfolio Management governance, Executive communication and stakeholder alignment, Technology debt / lifecycle and risk framing, Performance metrics and value realization tracking, ITSM Knowledge
Basic requirements:
Bachelor Degree
Experience Level: 10+ years in IT strategy, portfolio, transformation, PMO, or process excellence roles.
Enterprise Exposure: Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional, enterprise‑scale initiatives in complex IT environments.
Governance & Controls Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT governance, architecture, risk, and compliance interactions.
Transformation Methods: Formal or practical experience with Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, or enterprise transformation frameworks.
Advanced English
Top Candidates will also have:
ITIL, 6 Sigma Black Belt, Lean, PMI/Scrum
Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
