Job Summary:

As a Manager, Facilities Engineering, you will supervise maintenance activities for facilities and infrastructure in a hardware manufacturing plant/site—ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations while balancing sustainable use of facilities and budget demands.

You will build and lead a high-performing maintenance team, partner cross-functionally with engineers and suppliers, and drive disciplined execution across inspections, repairs, and facility upgrades to keep the site running at its best.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with engineers, partners, and suppliers to meet business goals aligned to sustainable facility use and budget demands.
• Build and lead an efficient facility maintenance team, including guiding training sessions to ensure quality performance.
• Evaluate utility systems and equipment effectiveness, identifying risks and implementing appropriate solutions to operational challenges.
• Oversee inspections, repairs, and facility updates, maintaining order and continuity of plant operations.
• Apply disciplined execution through planning and organizing, adjusting priorities and action plans to ensure commitments are met.

Education requirement:

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher, or demonstrate equivalent knowledge through extensive professional expertise.
• Experience leading plant facilities / utilities / infrastructure maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, contractor management, and service provider governance
• Exposure to capital projects for facility upgrades (scope, schedule, cost)
• Familiarity with continuous improvement concepts (e.g., 5S, reliability practices)
• Bilingual communication capability (Spanish/English) for plant and supplier interfaces

Additional Information:

• This position will be in Santa Catarina Office, Monterrey NL.
• This position is five days a week subject to changes and willingness to work sporadically on weekends.
