As a Dealer Growth and Activation Strategy Supervisor in the EAME/Asia Rental Team, you will play a critical role in driving rapid and profitable rental revenue growth at Cat Dealers. This role will both lead a team of rental industry experts as well as participate as the lead on Rental Growth Plans with priority dealers. This role requires close global collaboration with both the Cat Dealers and internal business partners. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution of rental growth initiatives.
In addition to leading dealer engagement and strategic initiatives, you will manage a team of consultants who will support data analysis, financial modeling, competitive benchmarking, and performance improvement efforts amongst other aspects of the rental business. You and the team will identify problem statements, develop business insights, identify root causes and solutions, set new strategic goals and performance targets with dealers, and ensure deployment plans are governed and executed on time to deliver profitable and sustainable rental growth.
What You Will Do:
Strategic Alignment & Leadership
- Develop and implement rental growth strategies for prioritized dealers, aligning with overarching dealer and Caterpillar objectives.
- Guide, mentor, and develop a team of consultants, ensuring high-quality analysis, recommendations, and execution support.
- Select and manage internal team members, ensuring effective collaboration with Cat Dealers on growth projects.
- Lead strategic discussions with Cat Dealer senior managers, influencing their approach to rental growth and operational improvement.
- Align rental strategic initiatives with overarching dealer strategies and internal business goals.
Industry & Performance Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis, assessing industry trends, competition, and dealer performance.
- Establish Cat Dealer baseline performance metrics across commercial, operational, and financial areas.
- Define and implement standardized data sources, tools, and performance benchmarks to drive consistency and measurable progress.
Growth Strategy Design & Execution
- Lead project teams—including internal partners and dealers—to define and implement sustainable growth strategies.
- Advise dealers on performance requirements, human capital development, and operational best practices.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Oversee the development and execution of dealer improvement plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Governance & Performance Management
- Guide dealers in establishing robust governance structures to maintain performance improvements.
- Lead internal governance processes, ensuring cross-functional coordination and accountability.
- Work closely with internal teams to provide data-driven insights and solutions to support dealer growth.
- Ensure timely deployment of aligned growth solutions, holding stakeholders accountable for execution.
What You Will Have:
- Proven experience in the equipment rental industry or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience leading teams and managing a group of consultants or analysts; relationship management.
- Strong strategic thinking, project management, and financial acumen.
- Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and build consensus.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and visual) to engage with senior executives and dealer leadership.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and results-driven mindset.
Additional Information:
- Ability to travel to Cat Dealer territories as required.
- Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the Geneva Office
- A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.
