Job Summary:
When you join team Caterpillar as a Order and Demand Consultant you will be joining a team responsible for providing guidance on the machine order management process as it adapts and grows into the digital age. The role is expected to adapt as new platforms are launched and provide support for all current machine order management systems and any new Modern Order Management solutions such as SAP. The position will work closely with business partners in Information Technology, tax, accounting, order management, transportation, manufacturing facilities, Product Distribution Center, Industries, and Product Groups to learn and advise on the order management process. This skillset of the role will continue to develop as we advance the order transformation journey. The candidate is expected to optimize current processes with modern digital tools.
What you will do:
Provide support for orders and invoicing process/system questions and work with business partners and IT as needed to provide solutions.
Provide business support for projects from Blueprinting through Go Live including planning, testing, systems setup, and working with business partners and IT to ensure success.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in solution delivery and work processes using modern digital technology and leveraging lean thinking. This includes learning and training users on new digital platforms and tools.
Deliver superior Customer Support of all machine order management systems.
Lead change management activities, including training, documentation, process flows, and defining roles and responsibilities.

• Working knowledge of CMOPS/SAP ordering systems and order management processes (preferably related to Caterpillar machine prime product, but can include engines, parts or work tools ordering systems)

• Implements existing technology infrastructure and systems management practices of one's own IT unit.

Basic requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or Marketing
Experience in Order Management, Sales Operations or Business Development roles
Hands-on user experience with SAP, CMOPS.
Pre-Advanced English
Top candidates will also have:
Experience designing, implementing business processes and system-enabled workflows
Familiarity with SAP governance, data compliance, and system audit controls
Experience on working with clients to address critical issues and resolve major problems.
Experience with lean principles and practices
Detail oriented with experience in data analysis.
PowerBI project creation experience
Salesforce experience
Additional Information:
Travel expected ~10%.
Note: This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days a week.
