Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.
We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Risk and Compliance Professional (Global Warranty) in Peoria, IL. As a Risk and Compliance Professional, you’ll ensure that claims adhere to export controls and sanctions regulations and that warranty processes comply with enterprise and business division standards and controls. This is accomplished through review and screening of claims information using enterprise applications. Requires strong collaboration with internal business partners including Cat Trade COE, legal, and division compliance as well as dealers.

What You Will Do:
- Perform review & screening of claims information to ensure compliance with export controls and sanctions regulations
- Create, revise and implement policies & procedures and assess activities against internal controls
- Conduct related risk & compliance training for Global Warranty team
- Identify potential risk and compliance vulnerabilities, develop & implement corrective action plans, and provide guidance for future situations
- Participate in compliance reviews and audits related to Global Warranty processes, develop & implement remediation plans, and support certification and recertification processes
- Review data, identify trends and make recommendations to further mitigate risks and improve processes
- Represent Global Warranty through participation in various continuous improvement projects
- Answer compliance related questions from dealers and internal partners
What You Have (Basic Requirements):
- Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
- Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
- Audit and Compliance Function: Knowledge of major responsibilities and tasks of Audit and Compliance (A&C) function; ability to manage the operation of A&C function in various business environments.
What Will Set You Apart (Top Candidates Will Have):
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Caterpillar export control policies, processes and applications
- Excellent skills in collaboration, communications, and risk management
- Experience working with Caterpillar dealers and Cat Trade COE
- Ability to effectively handle difficult and/or sensitive situations with appropriate professionalism to achieve desired outcomes
- Knowledge of Caterpillar products, warranty policies and processes
- Knowledge of Caterpillar systems (GTS, SIMS, SCAS, Claimsi, PowerBI, Snowflake, etc)

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
