What You Will Do:

· Work directly with the Resource Industries senior leadership team on developing and executing of our strategic goals.

· Identify new growth opportunities (new markets, products, M&A, etc..)

· Lead a team responsible for driving insights as it relates to the macro trends in mining (economic, industry, etc..). Analyze industry trends and customer behavior.

· Partner and drive insights on improving machine physical availability, solving our customers greatest challenges

· Track performance against segment strategic goals and KPIs, removing roadblocks and ensuring alignment across the segment

Skills and Experience:

· Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

· Stakeholder Management: Knowledge of stakeholder management techniques; ability to systematically identify stakeholders, analyze their needs and expectations, and implement various tasks to engage with them.

· Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

· Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree within Finance, Economics, Engineering, or other related fields. 10+ years of financial experience, competitive analysis, and/or M&A, preferably within a larger and/or multinational corporation.

· Strong communication skills.

· Excellent business acumen, business partnership, and leadership.

· Ability to gather large amounts of data/facts and leverage technology to distill into clear messages.

· Initiative, leadership, business judgment, effective organization skills, and accountability.

· Ability to resolve issues independently.

Summary Pay Range:

$189,080.00 - $283,630.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
