E+ES is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Rapid Electrification team with accountability for High-Voltage (HV) Electrical System Integration. This team owns electrical system design for L5 electric powertrains and L6 Electrified Machine Development across Resource Industries, Construction Industries, and Power & Energy segments. We support NPI, NTI, and Small Batch programs, including customer early learners, technology demonstrators, and advanced prototypes, in collaboration with E+ES component teams, machine product groups, and Cat Technology.
What you will do:
• Leads high‑impact engineering initiatives from concept through delivery, owning technical execution, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Develops project scope and technical approach to address business challenges and opportunities.
• Serves as hands‑on technical leader, contributing directly to design, implementation, integration, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
• Oversees project progress, risks, and costs; communicates status to stakeholders and participating functional areas; proactively resolves issues.
• Provides specialized engineering technical support and consulting services across the organization.
• Directs project staffing; motivates, mentors, and develops project team members and emerging technical leaders.
• Supports talent development through coaching, feedback, and performance discussions; contributes to staffing and development planning.
• Ensures achievement of engineering plans while maintaining high standards of product quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
What you have:
Degree Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
Technical Excellence
Ability to design, build, troubleshoot, and deliver technical solutions within electrified machines

Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
