Role Definition
Creates employee communications content; participates in the execution of employee communications programs within the organization. Provides administrative support and coordination activities for a team of people.
What You Will Do:
As a facility communicator:
Collaborating with internal stakeholders and advising on the suitability of approaches for communication efforts.
Managing various employee communication channels, i.e. all employee meetings, we are listening, daily emails, facility newsletter, viva engage, etc. ; ensuring that messaging and branding are consistent across all channels.
Creating, developing and distributing communications content and materials, such as written communications, presentation materials, taking pictures and editing videos, etc. to deliver key messages.
Tracking and analyzing metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications.
Organizing employee activities, company events, CSR and wellbeing activities, employee benefits.
Continuous improvement projects to keep improving employee experience and engagement.
As an Administrative Assistant:
Providing administrative assistant support to key leaders. Facilitating domestic and international travel arrangements; assisting in payments, expense processing, and charge card reconciliation, calendar management, etc.
Typing and distributing memos, meeting minutes and presentations for staff.
Coordinating leader visits, schedule management, support needed.
Coordinating government affairs related activities.
Maintaining master copies of organizational policy and procedure manuals and keeping them up-to-date.
Owner of facility cellphone policy and execution.
What You Have:
Requires a college degree in journalism, English, communications, human resources, marketing, media, digital, or other related majors.
Good at oral and written English skills.
Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Communicating for Impact: Knowledge of the concepts, tools and techniques for effective listening and communicating; ability to apply these theories to receive, transmit and accurately interpret information and ideas to influence others in various situations.
Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Copywriting and Editing: Knowledge of copywriting and editing; ability to write, review and edit texts and documents to promote marketing.
Internal Communications: Knowledge of techniques and media for internal communications; ability to produce and distribute news, newsletters and other communications materials targeted at the employees.
Multimedia Technologies: Knowledge of multimedia publishing technologies and procedures; ability to use installed audio, visual and animation software tools to produce multimedia publications.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effectiveness Measurement: Knowledge of effective measurement techniques and ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement.
