Role Definition
Analyzes, plans, and coordinates material and inventory flows across the supply chain to ensure material availability, optimize inventory levels, and support production, distribution, and customer service objectives.
Responsible for driving supply chain performance through demand analysis, replenishment planning, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You Will Do
- Develops and executes inventory and replenishment plans to ensure the availability of materials and products while minimizing excess inventory.
- Analyzes demand trends, inventory positions, supply constraints, and capacity requirements to support business objectives.
- Collaborates with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Distribution Centers, and Suppliers to ensure timely material availability and delivery performance.
- Monitors supply chain performance metrics and identifies opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Maintains planning parameters within ERP/MRP systems, including safety stock levels, lead times, reorder points, and replenishment strategies.
- Evaluates inventory risks, shortages, excess inventory, and obsolescence, developing mitigation and recovery plans as needed.
- Supports production and distribution planning activities to meet customer demand and service level requirements.
- Generates forecasts, inventory analyses, and planning reports to support business decisions.
- Investigates supply chain disruptions and implements corrective actions to minimize operational impact.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization, operational efficiency, and service excellence.
Education requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or relative
- Intermediate-level conversational English

- Understanding of demand variability and its impact on inventory strategies.
- Knowledge of inventory management processes and material replenishment strategies.
Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Proficiency in utilizing MRP tools and systems to determine material requirements and manage supply plans.
- Ability to review planning messages and exception reports to address shortages and potential disruptions.
- Understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), lead times, and capacity considerations.
- Capability to support production planning through accurate material availability management.
- Intermediate SAP knowledge with the ability to support planning and material management activities.
Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)
- Ability to support inventory deployment across warehouses and distribution networks.
- Capability to evaluate inventory allocation and replenishment strategies.
- Ability to identify distribution bottlenecks and develop corrective actions.
Data Analysis and Problem Solving
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret planning and inventory data.
- Capability to identify root causes of supply chain issues and develop corrective actions.
- Proficiency in analytical tools and reporting systems to support operational decisions.
- Ability to evaluate risks, trade-offs, and business impacts of proposed solutions.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency, including data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong data analysis skills to support decision-making and operational improvements.
Internal Resource Coordination
- Ability to coordinate activities among Procurement, Operations, Logistics, and Customer Service teams.
- Strong communication skills to align supply and demand priorities.
- Capability to support cross-functional initiatives that improve operational performance.
- Ability to coordinate and manage resources effectively to support business and operational objectives.
Relationship Management
- Ability to build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and business partners to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, peers, and cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to promoting teamwork and alignment toward common business goals.
Transportation and Logistics
- Understanding of transportation modes, lead times, and logistics costs.
- Basic knowledge of transportation methods, lead times, and associated costs.
- Minimum 2 years in Supply Chain functions, preferably in material planning and procurement.
- Knowledge of inventory management, material replenishment strategies, and supply planning processes.
Top Candidates will also have:
- MRP module in SAP
