Job Summary:
As a Global Lead-MPN Pricing within the PSLD Integrated Logistics team, you lead the global MPN pricing process, driving data-led decisions through ownership of the Global Supply Costing (GSC) tool. You will leverage advanced data analysis to identify pricing opportunities, evaluate cost drivers, and provide actionable insights that improve cost recovery performance and pricing accuracy. You deliver continuous improvements in pricing accuracy, automation, and process efficiency while maintaining strong data integrity. Acting as a key link between business and technical teams, you support the development and enhancement of systems and processes across the global MPN network
What you will do:
As Global Lead-MPN Pricing, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
- Lead coordination of the global pricing strategy for the MPN network through ownership of the Global Supply Costing (GSC) tool, delivering semi-annual price refreshes and targeted mid-cycle pricing analysis
- Drive detailed root cause analysis of pricing movements, leveraging large-scale datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and cost drivers from macro network level down to individual part level
- Evaluate the impact of tariffs, recoveries, and other supply chain cost components, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for GSC and MPN pricing processes, partnering with regional Account Managers and Business Resources teams to standardize methodologies and enhance decision-making
- Bridge business and technical teams by translating commercial requirements into system enhancements, collaborating with IT and o9 planning teams through user story creation, prioritization, sprint planning, and UAT execution within the GSDC delivery framework
- Improve and automate key elements of the pricing workflow, reducing manual intervention and increasing speed and consistency of the pricing process
- Design and implement data governance and validation processes to improve data integrity within pricing systems, ensuring more accurate outputs for quoting, forecasting, and analytics
- Lead complex projects at the network level with significant cost benefits

What You Can Demonstrate:
- Experience operating in a highly analytical role within Supply Chain or purchasing with understanding of business finance & structure,
- Strong focus on data-driven decision making & ability to lead complex projects having significant financial benefits to the supply network
- Advanced capability in data tools including Excel and Power BI, with experience analyzing and visualizing complex datasets
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to investigate and resolve complex pricing and cost-related issues
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business insights across global stakeholders
What You May Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent proven experience of min of 8 years in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance analytics or related discipline
- Proven problem-solving ability, including prioritizing across competing demands within a global environment
- Experience as an advanced user of enterprise data systems, with the ability to extend beyond standard functionality to derive deeper insights
- Experience with data manipulation and transformation tools such as Power Query, SQL, or SAS
- Familiarity with Caterpillar systems including Blue Yonder, SAP, DataWH etc
- Strong understanding of both regional and global MPN operations, including pricing structures, supply chain flows, and cost drivers
