Job Summary / 岗位概述

The Worktool Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development, validation, and continuous optimization of worktools, ensuring that the production process achieves the best performance in safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.

This role needs to work closely with manufacturing, quality, process, supply chain, and operations teams to translate product and process requirements into manufacturable, repeatable, and implementable worktool solutions.

This role requires a solid foundation in mechanical design, proficiency in CAD applications, and a deep understanding of the actual needs of manufacturing sites.

During new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement processes, this role plays a key part and is a core engineering position for improving production capacity and quality stability.

Key Responsibilities / 核心职责

Design and develop worktools.
设计并开发工作装置。

Translate manufacturing and process requirements into complete mechanical design solutions, engineering drawings, and BOMs.
将制造与工艺需求转化为完整的机械设计方案、工程图纸及 BOM。

Apply GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material selection methods to ensure good reliability and durability of worktools.
运用 GD&T、公差分析和材料选型方法,确保工作机具具备良好的可靠性与耐久性。

Support the implementation of new product introduction (NPI), engineering changes (ECN), and continuous improvement projects.
支持新产品导入(NPI)、工程变更(ECN)及持续改进项目的实施。

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, safety, and supplier teams to ensure worktool solutions are manufacturable and delivered on time.
与制造、质量、安全及供应商团队协同合作,确保工作机具方案具备可制造性并按期交付。

Carry out cost control and optimization of worktool solutions while meeting functional, quality, and delivery requirements, and drive reasonable selection of materials, structures, and manufacturing methods.
在满足功能、质量与交付要求的前提下,开展工作机具方案的成本控制与优化,推动材料、结构及制造方式的合理选型。

Participate in design reviews, risk analysis, and worktool validation testing to continuously improve solutions.
参与设计评审、风险分析及工作机具验证测试,推动方案持续完善。

Support on-site worktool issue analysis and troubleshooting, and drive root-cause improvement and closed-loop management.
支持现场工作机具问题分析与故障排查,推动根因改善与闭环管理。

Ensure that worktool design complies with company engineering standards and relevant safety regulations.
确保工作机具设计符合公司工程标准及相关安全法规要求。

Required Skills /必备技能

Education: Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, theories, and practices; ability to apply academic training in mechanical engineering or a related field to support sound engineering judgment and technical problem solving.
教育背景:具备机械工程原理、理论与实践知识;能够将机械工程或相关专业的系统学习应用于工程判断与技术问题解决。

Mechanical Design Knowledge: Knowledge of structural design, strength analysis, and mechanism design techniques; ability to apply mechanical design fundamentals to develop robust, functional, and manufacturable worktool solutions.
机械设计知识:具备结构设计、强度分析及机构设计技术知识;能够运用机械设计基础开发稳健、满足功能要求且具备可制造性的工作机具方案。

CAD Application: Knowledge of 3D CAD tools such as Creo, CATIA, and SolidWorks; ability to create, modify, and maintain accurate 3D models and engineering drawings that support design execution and manufacturing readiness.
CAD应用能力:具备Creo、CATIA、SolidWorks等三维CAD工具知识;能够创建、修改并维护准确的三维模型和工程图纸,以支持设计实施和制造准备。

Product and Worktool Design: Knowledge of production worktool design or structural component design for construction machinery and equipment; ability to apply prior design experience to develop practical solutions aligned with manufacturing and operational requirements.
产品与工装设计:具备生产工作机具或工程机械设备结构件设计相关知识;能够运用既有设计经验开发符合制造与运营要求的实用方案。

Engineering Drawing and Manufacturing Process Knowledge: Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and basic manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and assembly; ability to interpret design requirements and ensure designs are feasible for production and assembly.
工程图纸与制造工艺知识:具备工程图纸、GD&T及机加工、焊接、装配等基础制造工艺知识;能够准确解读设计要求并确保设计方案适用于生产与装配。

Problem Solving and Collaboration: Knowledge of problem analysis methods and cross-functional collaboration practices; ability to identify root causes, communicate effectively across teams, and work collaboratively to drive timely and practical solutions.
问题解决与协作能力:具备问题分析方法及跨职能协作实践知识;能够识别根本原因、在团队间进行有效沟通,并协同推动及时且切实可行的解决方案。

Preferred Skills优先技能

Manufacturing Environment Experience: Knowledge of worktool design practices in manufacturing or high-cycle production environments; ability to develop solutions that support production rhythm, consistency, and operational efficiency.
制造环境经验:具备制造业或高节拍生产环境下的工作机具设计实践知识;能够开发支持生产节拍、一致性和运营效率的解决方案。

Product Introduction and Quality Planning: Knowledge of new product introduction (NPI), DFMEA/PFMEA, and APQP methodologies; ability to support structured product launches, risk identification, and preventive quality planning throughout project execution.

Operational Design Awareness: Knowledge of lean manufacturing, ergonomics, and production safety-related design requirements; ability to incorporate these considerations into worktool solutions that improve usability, safety, and process performance.

Supplier and Outsourcing Coordination: Knowledge of supplier management or outsourced worktool development processes; ability to coordinate external partners to achieve quality, schedule, and technical objectives.
