Job Summary:
This position in PSLD Data Analytics - Aftermarket Data Analytics team (ADA) will be responsible for define, develop & maintain standardized data (Facts & Dimensions) for a wider supply base through collaboration with multiple teams by identifying safe source to build data. This in turn helps the management to visualize daily/weekly/monthly positions and trends of key business driving functionalities like Past Due, Backorder, Supplier Shipping Performance, etc.
Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Gather user requirements, collect, and document existing Safe Source data (tables / flat files), Identify Safe Source to establish & maintain Fact & Dimension tables for Business with TACCSS (Transactional, Accurate, Clean, Complete, Safe source & Standardized) data and establish dataflow diagrams.
Projects:
- Collaborate with different teams to implement standards.
- Lead performance improvement projects.
- Work closely and influence global teams for process improvements.
- Execute project milestones in a timely manner & effectively communicate progress to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ dedicated Snowflake experience in the following areas:
Technical skills:
- Strong SnowFlake SQL skills.
- Able to program in multiple languages (SQL, Python).
- Functional knowledge of Supply chain & Logistics.
- Ability to automate programs / processes.
Soft skills:
- Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.
- Adaptability to changing priorities.
- Strong customer focus and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Has the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Eager to learn & improve, continuously sharpen their skills.
- Strong solution-oriented analytic skills and show creativity in their problem-solving.
- Attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture.
- Has great communication skills – Is able to represent the architect team, address their needs & requirements in meetings with process partners (inside & outside of the greater team).
- Must be willing to work in different shifts to have enough overlap with global team.
- Strong customer focus to provide solutions with a sense of emergency.
Added advantage:
- RDBMS concepts, Python, JavaScript for Stored Procedure, DataIKU, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot, Dataverse).
- APICS CPIM / CSCP or Supply Chain certifications.
- Statistical knowledge for machine learning (ML) and predictive modeling.
- Experience with data mining and data analytics in large data sets.
