Caterpillar’s Electrification & Energy Solutions (E+ES) Division is focused on delivering advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries.

Responsibilities

As the Talent Management Leader for the Caterpillar Electrification & Energy Solutions Division, you will lead the division’s global talent management strategy and deployment efforts to effectively develop, manage, engage, and retain talent to enable our new and growing business to achieve its short-term and long-term goals. You will find yourself accomplishing a wide variety of fun, challenging, and meaningful work as you lead initiatives such as leadership development programs, employee development efforts, learning paths and other unique electrification learning initiatives, organizational design and strategic workforce planning, succession planning, change management, career planning, and more!

Degree Requirement
A minimum of a bachelors level degree is required.

Skills Required


Talent Management: Knowledge of how Caterpillar attracts, recruits, retains, identifies, and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

Training and Development: Knowledge of employee training and development methodologies; ability to ensure that a target population has the knowledge and skills required to meet both tactical and strategic objectives.

Talent Transformation: Ability to harness the potential and skills of employees to help them reach leadership positions while achieving the organization's strategic business objectives.

Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of Caterpillar’s vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.

Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Succession Planning: Knowledge of policies, techniques, methods and processes of succession planning; ability to identify and develop internal employees for the future fulfillment of an organization's core positions..

Additional Information:

  • This position is located at the Caterpillar headquarters in Irving, TX
  • This role requires 5 days a week in office
  • Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

  • This position is likely to require up to 15% travel (mostly domestic and some international)

Summary Pay Range:

$147,760.00 - $221,640.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
