Job Summary:
Provides day-to-day technical and administrative support for logistics staff and activities.
What you will do:
Tracking and reporting on activities, costs and expenditures for all transportation modes.
Notifying departments of shipping or receiving schedules and of any logistics problems.
Maintaining records of all shipments and invoices using an established system.
Load Building - Load Tendering- Track and Trace - Carrier Follow-up
Works directly with carriers and facilities to ensure all operational goals are being achieved.
What You Have - Skills:
Standard Operating Procedures, Accuracy and Attention to Detail, and Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP) is essential for designing, implementing, and evaluating procedures that impact daily and strategic business operations, thereby increasing operational efficiency. This requires a deep understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy, as well as the ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Additionally, effective analytical thinking is crucial, involving the use of techniques and tools to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions to resolve these issues.
Import/Export - MFG, Transportation - MFG, and Logistics Management: Knowledge of issues, procedures, tools, and practices of importing and exporting is fundamental for the ability to import and export goods to and from international locations. This is closely linked to knowledge of transportation, which involves the ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and customers. Furthermore, a comprehensive understanding of logistics management is vital, encompassing the processes, tools, and operational considerations for the effective and efficient movement of goods and materials. This includes the ability to understand, predict, and control the movement of goods, materials, and supplies, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.
Candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree.
Pre Advanced English.
