Job Summary:
Lead and manage manufacturing projects within the New Product Introduction (NPI) department to ensure successful industrialization, launch readiness, and production ramp-up of new products. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, developing and validating manufacturing processes, managing project timelines, risks, resources, and deliverables, and driving alignment with Product Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and other key stakeholders. The position requires strong project management capability to communicate project status, escalate critical issues, support timely decision-making, and ensure new product launches meet safety, quality, cost, capacity, and delivery objectives.
What You Will Do:
- Monitors customer delivery performance, cost reduction programs, lead-time improvements, and quality improvement projects that will enhance customer value and business unit results.
- Be able to Implement various corporate initiatives such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification, etc.
- Promotes development of people through continued education, employee involvement, increased responsibility and ergonomics.
- Lead manufacturing readiness activities for New Product Introduction (NPI), including process validation, production launch support, cross-functional coordination, and resolution of manufacturing issues to ensure successful product industrialization.
- Drive NPI project execution from concept through production ramp-up, ensuring manufacturing deliverables, timelines, risks, and escalation items are actively managed.
- Coordinate with Product Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Maintenance to ensure new products are designed and launched with manufacturability, safety, quality, and cost objectives in mind.
- Lead manufacturing process development, tooling readiness, work instructions, routings, and production documentation required to support new product launches.
- Support APQP, PPAP, control plan, PFMEA, process capability, and validation activities to ensure new products meet defined quality and compliance requirements.
- Assess manufacturing capacity, labor, equipment, layout, and investment needs for new programs, while identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans to achieve launch targets.
- Lead regular project reviews and stakeholder meetings to communicate project status, key milestones, risks, action plans, and escalation needs to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
Degree Requirement:
- Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Advanced English.

Additional information
- Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon.
- This position is five-day a week in-office model.
- Requires working weekends, based on business continuity needs
